We are proud to announce that INFUZE has had a paper published in Global Research in Action, selected papers from the 34th World Design Congress. INFUZE researchers from the Royal College of Art attended the congress in London to share insights about our work and our approach to collaborative design.
The paper introduces INFUZE and discusses the use of systemic co-design methods to support city-scale transport transitions. It looks at the PEKEM framework (Philosophy, Emotions, Knowledge, Experience and Material agency) used in our collaborative design process with communities in Leeds. It also discusses the wider goals of the project to combine participatory design, solution modelling, and real world trials to generate a new ‘participatory mobility science’.
